Still Life (Between Life and Death)
These paintings began as short, meditative painting sessions after leaving my job for the day. The subject matter in this work reflects flora and fauna found in the region of Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. Other themes that surface are allusions to Catholicism and biblical literature.
