Elizabeth Pearl Fontenot is a painter and printmaker working in East Texas.
She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2008 at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. In 2013 she graduated from Lamar University in Beaumont with a Master of Arts degree in Studio Art. She is an active member of The Art Studio, Inc. in Beaumont, TX. Fontenot is a native of the Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana areas, and much of the subject matter in her work reflects flora and fauna found in these environments. Other themes in her artwork include patters and textiles found in the home and relationships with industry and ecology.
